Shymkentmay JSC took part in the First Forum of this format, it was decided to hold it at the level of First Deputy Prime Ministers of the two countries. The delegations were headed by Askar Mamin, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, and Achilbay Ramatov, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan.
The topic of the forum was industrial cooperation. Its goal is to deepen the trade, economic and investment cooperation between the regions of the two countries. The forum was attended by about 200 guests from Uzbekistan, including representatives of more than 60 Uzbek companies. There were more than 200 persons from the Kazakhstan side, these are representatives of state bodies, national companies and domestic enterprises.
The main topic of the final meeting was to discuss the possibility to create the most favorable conditions for movement of citizens, goods and vehicles across the joint border of both countries. 13 documents on cooperation were signed according to the results of the forum.
